Our communities use CIT Bank out of Phoenix, Arizona for payment collection, which offers the ability to pay online with credit card or check (fees may apply). Additionally, your Association offers Automated Clearing House/direct draft of your dues. This authorization form is available on our website.
Mutual of Omaha Bank, which has merged and is now CIT Bank, is an FDIC insured bank that specializes in payment processing for homeowner, townhouse and condominium associations. No. We accept payment by check or money order in our office. Your Association’s bank may accept credit card and electronic funds transfers (EFTs) online.
Please make all checks or money orders payable to the name of your Association.
Now that you are selling, there are a few steps to take to ensure a smooth transition of the property. First, you will need to order a Disclosure Package per the Virginia Property Owners Association Act or a Resale Disclosure Package per the Virginia Condominium Act. Your closing attorneys will also need to use HomeWiseDocs to order an escrow payoff for closing which will provide the most current account balance.
Association business is taking place as usual, with some changes necessary to how and where association meetings are conducted. Your Community Manager can give you specifics on your community.
